What a cluster fuck

I loathe snow. Not as much as I loathe thunderstorms. Gah. But I loathe snow. Don't get me wrong, it's fun playing out in it with Ryan. But I'm not playing in the snow with Ryan. I'm working. People. Seriously. If you have no serious medical emergency, stay off the damn road. It's not worth it. If you are out of anything to eat, call a neighbor, see if they have something you can share and pay them back later. STAY. OFF. THE. ROADS. Hell if you can avoid going outside on foot, do so! If you ARE on the roads...please, please, please...watch out for children playing. What part of 'state of emergency' and 'emergency and state-approved vehicles only' is hard to understand?

Christmas is exhausting. It's a shame that it's been a rainy one but at least we didn't spend the holiday shoveling snow or anything. :) There are a ton of opened presents piled under the tree that we need to help Ryan put away properly. He loves his fish, though, so score one for the home team! Now we'll see if he can properly take care of the little guy!

One more week and it's the new year. Let me be the first to request: don't drink and drive, guys. It's a small town, walk. Or call a cab. Please, and thank you. Also happy New Year early.

Lindens! Gather round! Christmas dinner will be at the Livingston abode on the 25th! We’ll sit for dinner at 5pm, but feel free to start arriving at 2pm! Nolan, this means we have to cook things. :) Everyone bring an edible dish of some kind just let me know if it’ll be an appetizer, a main dish/casserole type something or dessert. Oh, and a yes or no if you’re showing up would help to know how much food we should have would help too, thanks!

Asked Ryan again (possibly the millionth time, but I've lost count) about what he wants for Christmas (don't judge me, we I have a lot of relatives, I need a lot of answers...). His answer:

Today was interesting. Yesterday and this morning, Ryan kept complaining that he heard something swishing in his ear. He did just finished off an ear ache, but that was last week. No fever and not other issues. So I picked him up from kindergarten early today and took him over to the doctor (thanks, Adri!).

While I appreciate the eyeful it provides, I would like to remind you that flashing your cleavage at me, after I pull you over for speeding, and hoping that I'm a lesbian, will not get you out of a ticket. Nor will crying, once you've realized the tatas didn't work.

It's cold and kinda rainy, I think I'll try and convince Ryan that it's a rice krispie treat making/indoor fort making day. & hopefully I won't get called in for anything work related today
